Tanya has worked in the legal field for over 43 years. Her career consists of working on both sides of the bench. She retired from the City of Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge City Court after 30 years of dedicated service. Her years of service with the Court consisted of working directly under one of the city judges for 20 years, served as mentor for new court administrators, and then served as the Division Manager of the Civil Department her last 10 years before retirement. In her positions, she performed functions in the judicial offices, courtrooms, as well as the Criminal and Civil Clerk’s offices. These experiences provided her with a complete perspective of the intricacies associated with case management. She has also worked in criminal and civil defense firms, prior to becoming a part of Dewey & Braud Law in September 2019. This experience has provided a further awareness of the impact of effective case management.
